The silverfish is a nocturnal insect ranging from 0.5-1 inch in size. They are identified by the 2 antennae from the head and the 3 tail like appendages.
They inhabit moist areas, requiring higher humidity thus thriving in damp environments. In most instances, they can be found in attics, basements, bathrooms, kitchens, old books, classrooms, and laundry rooms.
Silverfish can be managed by reducing the moisture/humidity in the infested area and aided by an interior treatment performed by one of our licensed Pest Control Technicians.
